There are many available treatments for pulmonary embolism (PE), but the best treatment for this condition is not known. The HI-PEITHO study will compare two treatment options that are both available on the market for the treatment of PE. Patients will be randomized 1:1 to receive either blood thinners (anticoagulation) or blood thinners (anticoagulation) in combination with a device called the EkoSonicTM Endovascular device to dissolve blood clots. Patients will be followed for 12 months after randomization and have assessments while in the hospital as well as at 7 days, 30 days, 6 months and 12 months after randomization. Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a type of inflammatory bowel disease that causes inflammation and bleeding from the lining of the rectum and colon (large intestine). This study will assess how safe and effective Upadacitinib is in treating pediatric participants with UC. Adverse events and change in disease activity will be assessed. Upadacitinib (RINVOQ) is a drug approved in adults for moderate- to severely active UC and is being developed for moderate- to severely active UC in pediatric participants. This study is conducted in 2 periods: Period 1 is comprised of two phases: an 8-week open-label induction phase which means that the study doctor and patients know that participants will receive UPA Dose-A (or the adult equivalent based on body weight) followed by a 44-week double-blind maintenance phase meaning that neither the participants nor the study doctors will know which dose of upadacitinib will be given(UPA Dose B or Dose C). Period 2 is a 260 week open-label extension (OLE) of Period 1. Approximately 110 pediatric participants with moderate to severely active UC will be enrolled at up to 100 sites worldwide. Participants will receive upadacitinib oral tablets once daily or oral solution twice daily at approximately the same time each day, with or without food. Participants will be followed up for 30 days after each phase (i.e. after induction, maintenance, OLE) and only if a participant doesn't continue into the next phase. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness, safety, and tolerability of a drug called Methimazole. The investigational drug, Methimazole is not FDA approved for brain tumors, but it is used to treat thyroid illnesses. Different doses of Methimazole will be given to several study participants with glioblastoma. The first several study participants will receive the lowest dose. If the drug does not cause serious side effects, it will be given to other study participants at a higher dose. The doses will continue to increase for every group of study participants until the side effects occur that require the dose to be lowered. Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic and often painful inflammatory skin disease which includes the forming of lumps, abscesses and scars in areas of the skin such as under the breasts, under armpits, inner thighs, groin and buttocks. This study will compare lutikizumab versus placebo for the treatment of adult and adolescent participants with the signs and symptoms of moderate to severe HS . Lutikizumab is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of HS. During Period 1 of the study, participants will placed in 1 of 2 groups called treatment arms. There is a 1 in 2 chance that participants will be assigned to placebo. Around 1280 adult and adolescent participants with moderate to severe HS will be enrolled in the study at approximately 275 sites world wide. During Period 2, participants that were part of the lutikizumab treatment arm in Period 1 will be re-randomized to 1 of 2 lutikizumab treatment arms. Participants that were part of the Placebo arm in Period 1 will start Period 2 with an initiation of lutikizumab followed by a re-randomization to 1 of 2 lutikizumab treatment arms. In Period 1, participants will receive subcutaneous injections of lutikizumab or placebo every week for 16 weeks. In Period 2, participants that were randomized to lutikizumab in Period 1 will receive subcutaneous injections of lutikizumab every week or every other week for 36-weeks. Participants that were randomized to the placebo arm in Period 1 will receive subcutaneous injections of lutikizumab every week for 16 weeks, then either every week or every other week for 20 weeks. Period 3 is the Long Term Extentsion (LTE) and through Week 68, participants will continue to receive lutikizumab SC using the same assigned dosing regimen from the end of Period 2 for 16 weeks followed by open-label lutikizumab EOW for 140 weeks. Participants in the US that complete Periods 1 \& 2 will have the option to enroll in a 156-week open-label Sub-Study that will assess the long term safety and efficacy of lutikizumab in a prefilled pen. This study aims to see if there's a link between a substance called phosphatidylethanol (PEth) and how patients who have surgery at University Hospitals do after surgery. PEth levels reflect the amount of alcohol use by someone over the past few weeks. This study is checking PEth levels on all patients who are planned to stay in the hospital for three or more days after surgery regardless if they drink alcohol. Specifically, it will look at if PEth levels are connected to problems that might come up during and after surgery, like confusion, lung or heart issues, needing blood transfusions, infections, unexpected intensive care unit (ICU) stays, and longer hospital stays. While there are reports of moderate alcohol consumption being good for the heart, there are other data that alcohol consumption can be harmful. Since there's not much information on how drinking alcohol affects health outcomes during and after surgery, especially for patients who are planned to be admitted to the hospital ward or ICU after surgery, this study will hopefully see if PEth levels before surgery can predict how patients do after the surgery. Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is the most common leukemia (cancer of blood cells). The purpose of this study is to assess the safety of venetoclax in combination with obinutuzumab or acalabrutinib in the treatment of CLL. Adverse events and change in disease activity will be assessed. Venetoclax in combination with obinutuzumab or acalabrutinib is being investigated in the treatment of CLL. Study doctors put the participants in 1 of 4 groups, called treatment arms. Participants will receive oral venetoclax in combination with intravenously (IV) infused obinutuzumab or oral acalabrutinib at in different dosing schemes as part of treatment. Approximately 120 adult participants with CLL who are being treated with venetoclax will be enrolled in the study in approximately 80 sites worldwide. Participants in Arm A will receive oral venetoclax in combination with IV infused obinutuzumab, with a 5 week venetoclax ramp up. Participants in Arm B will receive oral venetoclax in combination with oral acalabrutinib, with a 5 week venetoclax ramp up. Participants in Arm C and Arm D will receive oral venetoclax in combination with oral acalabrutinib, with differing venetoclax ramp up periods. The total study duration is approximately 28 months. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic.
