Testing the Addition of an Anti-cancer Drug, Pembrolizumab, to the Usual Intravesical Chemotherapy Treatment (Gemcitabine) for the Treatment of BCG-Unresponsive Non-muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer
Recruiting
This phase II trial studies the effect of adding pembrolizumab to gemcitabine in treating patients with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer whose cancer does not respond to Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) treatment. Chemotherapy drugs, such as gemcitabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the patient's im... Read More

A Study to Test Radium-223 With Docetaxel in Patients With Prostate Cancer
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to compare any good and bad effects of using radium-223 along with docetaxel chemotherapy treatment versus using docetaxel alone. Earlier studies helped show that the combination is safe, but the combination has not been proven to work better than either drug alone. The goal of this study is to find out if combining docetaxel and radium-223 is better than giving either drug by itself.

A Study to Assess Adverse Events and Effectiveness of Gel Stent (XEN63) Implantation Using Ab Interno and Ab Externo Approaches in Adult Participants With Glaucoma
Recruiting
Glaucoma is the second most common cause of blindness in the world, second only to cataracts. This study will assess how safe and effective a glaucoma gel stent is when implanted using the ab interno (inside the eye) and ab externo (outside the eye) approach. Adverse events and intraocular pressure will be assessed. XEN63 is an investigational device for the treatment of intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with glaucoma when both medical and conventional surgical treatments have failed (for... Read More

A Double-blind Dual Study Assessing Safety and Efficacy of Buntanetap in Participants With Early AD
Recruiting
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if buntanetap/Posiphen works to treat early Alzheimer's disease in adults aged 55-85. It will also learn about the safety of buntanetap/Posiphen. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does buntanetap/Posiphen improve cognition as measured by ADAS-Cog13? * Does buntanetap/Posiphen improve function as measured by ADCS-iADL? * What medical issues do participants have, if any, when taking buntanetap/Posiphen? Researchers will compare buntanetap/Pos... Read More

A Study to Evaluate the Risk of Tumor Lysis Syndrome (TLS) in Adult Participants Receiving Oral Venetoclax in Combination With Intravenously Infused Obinutuzumab or Oral Acalabrutinib for Previously Untreated Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)
Recruiting
Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is the most common leukemia (cancer of blood cells). The purpose of this study is to assess the safety of venetoclax in combination with obinutuzumab or acalabrutinib in the treatment of CLL. Adverse events and change in disease activity will be assessed. Venetoclax in combination with obinutuzumab or acalabrutinib is being investigated in the treatment of CLL. Study doctors put the participants in 1 of 4 groups, called treatment arms. Participants will receiv... Read More

Evaluating a One-Year Version of the Parent-Child Assistance Program
Recruiting
The proposed project seeks to achieve three objectives that will, collectively, evaluate the effectiveness of a one-year version of the Parent-Child Assistance Program (PCAP-1) -a model for a home visitation and case management program for parents who used substances. First, the proposed project aims to estimate the causal impact of PCAP-1 on preventing the need for foster care and promoting reunification. Second, the project will estimate PCAP-1's effectiveness in achieving other program goals:... Read More
