The investigators' overall objective is to demonstrate the efficacy of the Bullying Classroom Check-Up (BCCU) on elementary aged students' aggressive and bullying behaviors, teacher practices, and student and teacher relationships. The investigators' principal hypothesis is that the BCCU will improve students' aggression and bullying behaviors and their perceptions of the school climate and relationships in the building as well as teacher practices. Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) is a disorder of development of the neural retina and its vasculature that can impact vision in vulnerable preterm neonates for a lifetime. This study tests high-speed optical coherence tomography (OCT) technology compared to conventional color photographs at the bedside of very preterm infants in the intensive care nursery, to characterize previously unseen abnormalities that can predict a need for referral for ROP treatment, or poor visual or neurological development later in life, up to pre-school age. Our long-term goal is to help improve preterm infant health and vision via objective bedside imaging and analysis that characterizes early critical indicators of ROP, and poor visual function and neurological development, which will rapidly translate to better early intervention and improved future care. The social determinants of health have a large impact on health. For example, neighborhood socioeconomic deprivation is associated with increased risk of medication non-adherence, graft failure, and death in children after liver transplant. In order to address these socioeconomic inequities in outcomes, a more granular understanding of how the social determinants of health impact outcomes is needed. In this observational prospective cohort, caregivers of children undergoing liver transplantation will complete surveys and undergo in-depth, qualitative interviews. The survey will assess comprehensively for the social determinants of health (e.g. material economic hardship, health literacy, social connectedness, primary care quality, etc). The qualitative interviews will identify barriers and facilitators that socioeconomically deprived children/families have to obtaining the ideal outcome and identify health system opportunities to integrate social needs and medical care. Data will be linked to an existing prospective cohort study (The Society for Pediatric Liver Transplant registry) to assess the impact of social risk on outcomes after transplant. Healthcare providers who take care of children undergoing liver transplant will also be included in the qualitative interviews. The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of using a reduced-intensity condition (RIC) regimen with umbilical cord blood transplant (UCBT), double cord UCBT, matched unrelated donor (MUD) bone marrow transplant (BMT) or peripheral blood stem cell transplant (PBSCT) in patients with non-malignant disorders that are amenable to treatment with hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT). The goal of this pilot study is to learn about healing after dental implant placement in patients taking a class of biologic drug called Tumor Necrosis Factor or TNF-alpha antagonist or inhibitor. The main questions it aims to answer are: Do patients taking TNF-alpha inhibitors have any complications after the placement of dental implants? Do patients taking TNF-alpha inhibitor experience increased pain after dental implant placement compared to the expected levels when healing from this procedure? Researchers will recruit patients both taking these drugs and those not taking these drugs to compare the outcomes between the two groups. Participants missing teeth will be recruited to receive dental implants to meet ideal dental status and will be followed before and after the implant placement to determine levels of health and ensure proper healing. Participants will be followed for a total of one year and follow up visits will consist of both clinical examination and radiographs (x-rays) to evaluate bone level and implant status. Participants will also be asked to rate their pain during clinic visits and at home on a diary and record the amount of pain control medication they take after the implant procedure. Read Less

Fractyl is evaluating Revita Duodenal Mucosal Resurfacing (DMR) in the REMAIN-1 pivotal study, which is designed to include two cohorts - an open label cohort referred to as REVEAL-1, and a randomized cohort, which includes both a midpoint analysis and a pivotal analysis. Patients who previously lost at least 15% of their body weight on a GLP-1 can qualify for the open label REVEAL-1 cohort. The data generated from the REVEAL-1 cohort will be used for open label reporting as the study progresses. The REMAIN-1 randomized cohort will enroll patients living with obesity and a body mass index ("BMI") between 30 and 45 kg/m2 who are not currently on a GLP-1 drug. Patients will be prescribed tirzepatide and titrated to achieve at least 15% total body weight loss, at which time tirzepatide will be discontinued and patients will be randomized to Revita versus sham at 2:1. Midpoint Analysis of Randomized Cohort: The midpoint analysis of the randomized cohort will be performed at three months of follow-up on approximately 45 patients, allowing us to assess and report on safety and efficacy signals that could be anticipated in the pivotal analysis. These patients are distinct from those included in the pivotal analysis. Pivotal Analysis of Randomized Cohort: The pivotal analysis of the randomized cohort will be performed on approximately 315 patients (distinct from those included in the midpoint analysis) and will evaluate safety and efficacy in the first co-primary endpoint, which is weight regain from the time of tirzepatide discontinuation in Revita DMR versus sham patients at six months, with a primary objective of demonstrating a benefit of Revita DMR versus sham for weight maintenance after GLP-1 discontinuation. The second co-primary endpoint evaluates a responder rate among the Revita DMR treated group at one year to demonstrate the durability of the Revita DMR procedure for weight maintenance after discontinuation of a GLP-1-based therapy. Secondary objectives will include evaluation of the effectiveness of the Revita DMR procedure on the change in blood glucose levels, cardiovascular disease ("CVD") risk factors, body composition and pre-diabetes status. This study is researching an experimental drug called fianlimab (also known as REGN3767), combined with another medication called cemiplimab (also known as REGN2810), called "study drugs". The study is focused on patients with a type of skin cancer known as melanoma. The aim of the study is to see how safe and effective the combination of fianlimab and cemiplimab is in treating melanoma, in comparison with the combination of two medications, relatlimab and nivolumab, commercialized under the brand name Opdualag™ and approved for the treatment of melanoma in adults and children.
