Study of Orally Administered AG-120 in Subjects With Advanced Hematologic Malignancies With an IDH1 Mutation
Recruiting
The purpose of this Phase I, multicenter study is to evaluate the safety, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and clinical activity of AG-120 in advanced hematologic malignancies that harbor an IDH1 mutation. The first portion of the study is a dose escalation phase where cohorts of patients will receive ascending oral doses of AG-120 to determine maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and/or the recommended Phase II dose. The second portion of the study is a dose expansion phase where four cohorts of pati... Read More

Neuroblastoma Biology Study
Recruiting
Medical scientists want to find better ways to treat neuroblastoma and to find ways to prevent the tumor from growing back. To do this, they need more information about the characteristics of neuroblastoma cells. Therefore, they want to study samples of neuroblastoma tissues and neuroblastoma and normal cells in the blood and bone marrow that may be related to the growth of neuroblastoma cells. Doctors and other medical scientists also want to find better ways to detect and measure neuroblastoma... Read More

The PROTEMBO Trial
Recruiting
The goal of this prospective, multi-center, randomized, controlled study is to compare the safety and efficacy of the ProtEmbo Cerebral Embolic Protection device to a hybrid control (no embolic protection device ('No Device') and the Sentinel device) in subjects with severe symptomatic native aortic valve stenosis indicated undergoing a TAVR procedure.

A Phase 1 Trial of ZN-A-1041 Enteric Capsules or Combination in Patients With HER2-Positive Advanced Solid Tumors
Recruiting
This will be a Phase 1, multicenter, open-label trial to evaluate the safety, tolerability, PK and efficacy of ZN-A-1041 as a monotherapy or in combination in patients with HER2-positive advanced solid tumors with or without brain metastases. The study will consist of three phases: Phase 1a (dose escalation with ZN-A-1041 monotherapy), Phase 1b (dose escalation with ZN-A-1041 combination therapy) and Phase 1c (dose expansion with ZN-A-1041 combination therapy).

Project 2: ACHIEVE- HF
Recruiting
This project is part of the ACHIEVE GREATER (Addressing Cardiometabolic Health Inequities by Early PreVEntion in the GREAT LakEs Region) Center (IRB 100221MP2A), the purpose of which is to reduce cardiometabolic health disparities and downstream Black-White lifespan inequality in two cities: Detroit, Michigan, and Cleveland, Ohio. The ACHIEVE GREATER Center will involve three separate but related projects that aim to mitigate health disparities in risk factor control for three chronic conditions... Read More

Mobile Technologies Extending Reach of Primary Care for Substance Use Disorders
Recruiting
The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate efficacy of our enhanced version of the CHESS Health eIntervention in a clinical setting for those with moderate risk drug or alcohol use and those at high risk or with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) as measured by the ASSIST and the AUDIT assessment tools. The clinical trial is designed to determine whether SBIRT/eIntervention is significantly more effective than SBIRT/Treatment as usual (TAU) as delivered in a primary care setting. While it is not f... Read More

Opioid/benzodiazepine Polydrug Abuse
Recruiting
Benzodiazepine (BZD)/opioid polysubstance abuse (PSA) dramatically increases risks of overdose, disability and death; however, little is known about phenotypes that could be targeted to decrease this use and these associated risks. The opioid abuse epidemic is generating unprecedented numbers of overdoses (OD) and deaths from prescribed and illegal sources (e.g. fentanyl combined with, or sold as, heroin). Yet, medical and epidemiological data suggest these adverse outcomes are not solely due t... Read More

Opioid/Benzodiazepine Polydrug Abuse: Aim 3
Recruiting
In this study, the investigators will measure affective, neurocognitive and behavioral outcomes related to chronic use of opioids and benzodiazepines (screening phase), and in response to the administration of the opioid morphine, the benzodiazepine alprazolam, morphine then alprazolam, alprazolam then morphine, morphine+alprazolam simultaneously, and placebo (laboratory pharmacology experiment). The latter will enable the investigators to assess the effects of an opioid alone, benzodiazepine al... Read More

TNF-α Treatment of Blast-Induced Tinnitus
Recruiting
The purpose of this multi-site research study is to determine if Etanercept, compared to a placebo, significantly reduces the severity of tinnitus (ringing in the ears) associated with history of blast and/or noise exposure or associated with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and/or concussion.
