Physical Rehabilitation for Older Patients With Acute Heart Failure With Preserved Ejection Fraction
Recruiting
The REHAB-HFpEF trial will determine whether a novel physical rehabilitation intervention will improve the primary outcome of combined all-cause rehospitalizations and mortality and the secondary outcome of major mobility disability during 6-month follow-up in patients hospitalized for heart failure and preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF), which is nearly unique to older persons, and for which there are few treatment options.

Azelaic Acid as a Novel Treatment for Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia (CCCA)
Recruiting
The purpose of this pilot study is to determine if azelaic acid shows potential to be an effective treatment for Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia (CCCA). In this study, the aim is to compare azelaic acid vs placebo since azelaic acid may increase anti-inflammatory effects that affect the hair growth cycle.

A Study of ASP2138 Given by Itself or Given With Other Cancer Treatments in Adults With Stomach Cancer, Gastroesophageal Junction Cancer, or Pancreatic Cancer
Recruiting
Claudin 18.2 protein, or CLDN18.2 is a protein found on cells in the digestive system. It is also found on some tumors. Researchers are looking at ways to attack CLDN18.2 to help control tumors. ASP2138 is thought to bind to CLDN18.2 and a protein on a type of immune cell called a T-cell. This "tells" the immune system to attack the tumor. ASP2138 is a potential treatment for people with stomach cancer, gastroesophageal junction cancer (GEJ cancer) or pancreatic cancer. GEJ is where the tube tha... Read More

A Study of 177Lu-FAP-2286 in Advanced Solid Tumors
Recruiting
Fibroblast activation protein (FAP) is a cell surface protein that is highly expressed on the surface of cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) present in the tumor microenvironment of most epithelial cancers, whereas limited expression of FAP is observed in normal tissues. In some cancers of mesenchymal origin, notably sarcoma and mesothelioma, FAP expression has also been observed on the tumor cells themselves. Given the restricted expression profile, FAP is a promising target for peptide-target... Read More

Prebiotic Galacto-oligosaccharide and Acute GVHD
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to determine whether the carbohydrate prebiotic (dietary supplement) known as galacto-oligosaccharide (GOS) can modulate the microbiome (the bacteria in the gut) and help prevent graft-versus host disease (GVHD) after allogeneic stem cell transplant. The study has two two parts. In phase 1, the best dose of GOS will be evaluated. In phase 2, using the best dose of GOS, participants will be randomized to receive GOS or a placebo (maltodextrin, a common food additive t... Read More
