Acoustic Stimulation, Sleep, and Cognitive-Emotional Processes in Young Adults with Anxiety and Depression Symptoms
Recruiting
In this study, the investigators will recruit young adults (ages 18-25 years) with elevated anxiety/depression symptoms and sleep disturbance. Participants will complete two overnights in a sleep lab. During one of the overnights, slow-wave activity will be enhanced by delivering sub-arousal auditory tones during slow-wave sleep using a headband device (Philips SmartSleep or Dreem 2). During the other overnight, tones will not be administered. Cognitive and emotional processes will be evaluated... Read More

Improving Measurement and Treatment of Post-stroke Neglect
Recruiting
This study examines how to best assess and treat post-stroke neglect. This study will examine the preliminary effects of an innovative intervention (repetitive task-specific practice + transcranial direct current stimulation) for individuals with neglect. This study will also determine whether items from various neglect assessments can be combined to establish a more comprehensive neglect measure.

Postpartum Care in the NICU (PeliCaN) Transitions
Recruiting
This is a randomized controlled trial of a dyad-centered, doula support and healthcare coordination model of care in a large urban neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), which serves a high-risk, low-income, majority Black population. In addition to doula support and coordination of care in the NICU, there will be a warm handoff to a community doula to continue the support once infants leave the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) NICU.

International CDKL5 Registry
Recruiting
Owing to the recent classification of CDKL5 Deficiency Disorder (CDD) as a unique disorder, there is a limited understanding of overall disease natural history and meaningful outcome measures. An international patient registry aimed at collecting both patient/caregiver and clinician-entered demographic, patient-reported outcome (PRO) and treatment data would benefit both the scientific and patient communities. This CDD registry will follow up to 500 patients diagnosed with CDD over several years... Read More

Pilot Trial of the RUBI Program for Autistic Adults
Recruiting
The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate if a redesigned version of the RUBI parenting intervention can reduce challenging behaviors and improve adaptive skills in autistic adults with co-occurring challenging behaviors. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Is the redesigned RUBI intervention feasible and acceptable for autistic adults and their families? * Does the redesigned RUBI intervention reduce challenging behaviors and enhance the quality of life for autistic adults? * Rese... A Trial of Post-Discharge Transitional Care for Patients With Chronic Liver Disease
Recruiting
Patients with complications of advanced liver disease often have difficulties after hospital discharge that result in early hospital readmission. Poor outcomes for these patients during this transitional time could be improved through the use of innovative transitional care models. This proposal aims to examine the effect of a transitional care model, The Transitional Liver Clinic (TLC), in reducing hospital re-admissions, improving quality of life, and improving patient experience.
