Loss of Y Chromosome in Aortic Stenosis
Recruiting
The most common heart valve disease in humans is aortic stenosis which is a critical narrowing of the valve through which the heart has to pump blood to the rest of the body. This condition occurs in 2-3% of adults over 65 years of age and when it progresses to a severe stage leads to heart failure and need for valve replacement procedures (including surgery and catheter-based replacement). Aortic stenosis has a strong male predominance. The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether loss of Y... Read More

DFP-10917 in Combination With Venetoclax in Relapsed or Refractory Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Recruiting
This Phase I/II trial evaluates the safety and preliminary efficacy of DFP-10917 combined with venetoclax in relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia. DFP-10917 is given as a 14-day continuous IV infusion every 28 days, alongside a 14-day oral course of venetoclax following an initial dose ramp-up. The initial phase tests a starting dose of 4 mg/m²/day of DFP-10917 with 400 mg daily of venetoclax. The Data Monitoring Committee reviews toxicity after one treatment cycle. If DLTs are minimal,... A Biospecimen Collection Study to Identify the Targets of Disease-Reactive T Cells in Patients with Autoimmune Disease
Recruiting
The most clinically meaningful way to discover new targets of T cells in autoimmune diseases is to study the tissues of patients with active autoimmune disease mediated organ inflammation. These tissues contain both cytotoxic and helper T cells that are driving their disease, and these T cells are being guided by TCRs that recognize tissue-specific targets. By collecting tissue when a patient has active inflammation, it is possible to determine which T cells are activated and undergoing clonal e... Read More
