Optimal Post Tpa-Iv Monitoring in Ischemic Stroke
Recruiting
OPTIMISTmain is an investigator-initiated and conducted, international, multicentre, stepped wedge cluster randomized controlled trial comparing the effects of different intensities of nursing care monitoring for patients with acute ischemic stroke of mild severity and without critical care needs after IV-tPA.

Standard Systemic Therapy With or Without Definitive Treatment in Treating Participants With Metastatic Prostate Cancer
Recruiting
This phase III trial studies how well standard systemic therapy with or without definitive treatment (prostate removal surgery or radiation therapy) works in treating participants with prostate cancer that has spread to other places in the body. Addition of prostate removal surgery or radiation therapy to standard systemic therapy for prostate cancer may lower the chance of the cancer growing or spreading.

The CHILD Trial: Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome Study.
Recruiting
The objectives of this pilot study are to evaluate the feasibility and safety of intramyocardial injection of autologous c-kit+ cells during the Stage II BDCPA operation and to observe effects on clinical outcome including right ventricular myocardial function, severity of tricuspid regurgitation, incidence of serious adverse events, re-hospitalizations, changes in health status, the need for transplantation, or mortality.

Comprehensive Genomic Analysis in Tissue Samples From Patients With Recurrent or Stage IV Non-small Cell Lung Cancer
Recruiting
This research trial studies comprehensive genomic analysis in tissue samples from patients with non-small cell lung cancer that has come back or is stage IV. Comprehensive genomic analysis may identify specific gene mutations (changes in deoxyribonucleic acid [DNA]) and help doctors to tailor treatment to target the specific mutations.

Identification of Phenotypic Factors That Predict Success for Weight Loss and Long-term Weight Maintenance
Recruiting
The Investigational Weight Management Clinic now entitled the Weight Management Program at the University of Michigan was created to identify strategies that will result in cost-effective, long term weight management for overweight and obese individuals. The driving hypothesis of the clinic is that the 'one size fits all' philosophy is untenable with a complex disease such as obesity. The clinic will serve as a portal for patients to choose standard clinical care or to explore alternatives from... Read More

Leveraging Virtual Care Strategies to Improve Access and Treatment for Individuals With Alcohol Use Disorders
Recruiting
The purpose of this research study is to test new technology-driven programs to see if they might help people manage their health and health behaviors related to alcohol use and well-being. The programs focus on getting to know what's important to participants, reviewing or setting goals, and using different skills and behaviors to manage health. The study will help researchers learn about ways to deliver health information in a way that is useful and interesting.
