The purpose of this research study is to test an experimental procedure called intra-arterial delivery of verapamil in patients diagnosed with acute ischemic stroke. This study investigates the safety of intra-arterial delivery of verapamil, a drug used to treat vasospasm (spasm of a blood vessel), and how it affects recovery from stroke. The goal of this observational study is to learn more about how genes impact the risk of breast cancer. Anyone 18 or older living in the US is eligible, and a diagnosis of cancer is NOT required. Study participation is online, and it takes about 20 minutes to complete health surveys and request a saliva collection kit sent through US mail.
