Exercise and Time of Day in Type 2 Diabetes
Recruiting
The overall purpose of the study is to test the effect of Noom on exercise and diet advice in adults with type 2 diabetes. The overarching hypothesis is that the use of Noom may promote better dietary adherence during an exercise program, thereby promoting greater weight loss and cardiometabolic health compared to lifestyle advice only. In particular, the investigators anticipate that changes in metabolic and vascular insulin sensitivity will correlate with glycemic control and blood pressure ch... Read More

PD, PK, and Safety of ALTO-203 in Patients With MDD
Recruiting
The goal of this clinical trial is to determine the pharmacodynamic effects of ALTO-203 in patients with MDD in a randomized, placebo-controlled, single-dose crossover treatment period. Additionally, safety, tolerability, and PK will be assessed in a subsequent randomized placebo-controlled multi-dose parallel-group treatment period of 28 days. Participants will complete subjective response questionnaires and perform cognitive tasks during the single-dose period, in which participants will rece... Read More

Lung Function Monitoring During Hypoxemia Episodes
Recruiting
Premature infants commonly have desaturation episodes due to different reasons such as cessation of breathing or loss of lung volume. The purpose of this study is to differentiate the mechanisms of desaturation episodes with continuous lung volume monitoring. As we better understand the mechanisms underlying the desaturation episodes, newer strategies directed at underlying pathophysiology can potentially by evaluated for mitigation of these episodes.

Novel Biochemical and Molecular Determinants for Soft Tissue Sarcoma
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to study normal and sarcoma cells. To study these cells we need to have human tissue. You will be having or have already had a procedure to remove tissue. We would like to use some of this tissue. We will use it for laboratory studies on the diagnosis, behavior and treatment of sarcoma. We will perform an extensive analysis of your samples. We will only use extra tissue left over after all needed testing has been done or remove an additional small amount of tissue if... Read More
