Behavioral Economic Strategies to Improve PRO Adherence
Recruiting
The main purpose of this research study is to evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of patient- and nurse-directed strategies across in-clinic and remote patient reported outcome (PRO) monitoring settings, using a three-arm pragmatic cluster randomized controlled trial. Additionally, the goal is to evaluate moderators of implementation effects on PRO monitoring. Eligible patients will be randomized independently to: (1) usual practice (i.e., encounter-based PRO administration via patien... Read More

Healthy Lifestyles After Cancer for Adolescents and Young Adults: A Program to Reduce Cardiovascular Risk Factors
Recruiting
There are close to 700,000 survivors of adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer (aged 15 to 39 at diagnosis) in the US. Survivorship for AYAs is often complicated by long-term and late-effects. Cardiovascular disease (CVD), in particular, is a leading cause of death for cancer survivors and is a growing public health concern for survivors diagnosed as AYAs. Risk of CVD may be associated with treatment exposures and may be potentiated by weight gain and poor health behaviors. Healthy eating and p... Read More

Spermatogonial Stem Cell (SSC) Transplant and Testicular Tissue Grafting
Recruiting
Spermatogonial stem cell transplantation through ultrasound guided rete testis injection and testicular tissue grafting will be performed for participants who have frozen testicular tissue prior to gonadotoxic therapy. The purpose of this study is to test the safety and feasibility of these transplant technologies and restore fertility for these participants.

Bile Acids in Acute Insulin Resistance
Recruiting
This is a prospective observational study with a primary goal of monitoring changes in circulating bile acid profiles and parameters of glucose and lipid metabolism prior, during, and after cancer treatment with agents that directly impair insulin action: PI3K inhibitors, AKT inhibitors, and mTOR inhibitors. Patients will not receive any cancer treatment specifically for the purposes of this study. Rather, this study will be based on treatment decisions made independently by participants' oncolo... Exercise Rehabilitation in Veteran Cancer Survivors
Recruiting
Exercise rehabilitation has the potential as a non-pharmacological approach to reduce persistent neuropathic pain in Veterans with lung cancer. By examining the effects of exercise training in Veteran cancer survivors with NSCLC, there is the potential to revolutionize care for a: common, debilitating, and inadequately treated symptom in a growing population. This could lead to a larger investigation to fill critical gaps in the literature and at the same time help discover a new model of care f... Read More

Quality of Life (QoL) Assessment in Cancer Patients and Survivors With Dermatologic Conditions Using Dermatologic QoL Instruments
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to see how skin conditions that are related to different kinds of cancer or cancer treatments affect a patient's overall well-being. Skin conditions are common in cancer patients and survivors. Sometimes, the skin condition is directly related to the cancer. Other times, these conditions are a side effect of cancer treatment. Patients in the study will be asked to fill out at least one questionnaire about how they feel about their skin condition. If the patient needs... Read More
