This study will be a double-blinded, two-arm, prospective, randomized controlled pilot feasibility study in 40 evaluable subjects (20 in each arm) at one study site within the United States. Subjects in Arm 1 will receive unilateral Discogen treatment; subjects in Arm 2 will receive unilateral sham treatment (control). The purpose of this study is to learn about the interactions of markers of type 2 diabetes (T2DM) and periodontitis (PD). Study VPE00001 is a multi-center cross-sectional study. Participants will be categorized based on point-of-care hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) and periodontal disease (PD) staging into 9 subgroups. Children with speech sound disorder show diminished intelligibility in spoken communication and may thus be perceived as less capable than peers, with negative consequences for both socioemotional and socioeconomic outcomes. New technologies have the potential to transform interventions for speech sound disorder, but there is a lack of rigorous evidence to substantiate this promise. This research will meet a public health need by systematically evaluating the efficacy of visual-acoustic biofeedback intervention delivered in-person versus via telepractice. The objective of this study is to test the hypothesis that treatment incorporating visual-acoustic biofeedback can be delivered via telepractice without a significant loss of efficacy. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive identical treatment either via online telepractice or in the laboratory setting. The same software for visual-acoustic biofeedback, staRt, will be used in both conditions. Participants' progress in treatment will be evaluated based on blinded listeners' perceptual ratings of probes produced before and after treatment. The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluates the usability, tolerability, and clinical accuracy of the JessieHug device, a wearable medical device for newborns and infants that collects physiological data. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Is the device easily usable for parents of newborns and infants? * Is the device tolerable when worn by infants and are there any safety concerns? * Is the device able to collect clinically accurate physiologic data compared to a FDA-cleared reference device? Participants will: * Place the JessieHug device on their infant two times a week and complete surveys to assess usability, tolerability and safety. * Have one session where the JessieHug device will be worn at the same time as reference device to determine accuracy. The MaesTTRo study aims to enroll a global cohort of patients with transthyretin (ATTR) amyloidosis to longitudinally observe the natural course of the disease and describe real-world treatment patterns and outcomes. In addition, information on the effectiveness of ATTR amyloidosis treatments, including eplontersen, which is a ligand-conjugated antisense oligonucleotide gene silencing treatment targeting activity against both the mutant and wild-type TTR protein, will be collected. The goal of this pilot study is to learn if a class and hands-on-practice of ergonomic body positions - or specific ways to move the body while working to prevent injury - is valuable to training obstetrics and gynecology doctors. The main questions the study team aims to answer are: * Will these lessons successfully teach the participants how to move bodies at work in a way that will prevent injury? * Will the participants feel that learning and practicing such lessons helps to avoid injury while at work? Researchers will compare training obstetrics and gynecology doctors that attend a class on ergonomics and have guided hands-on-practice of ergonomic body positions with training obstetrics and gynecology doctors that attend the class only to see if the first group learns and remembers how to move their bodies safely while working. All participants will attend a class that teaches basic ergonomic lessons before they are divided into two groups. Group 1 will practice common surgery skills on a model while being videotaped by an artificial intelligence application. The application will make a report on unsafe positions a participant does while practicing surgical skills. The Group 1 participant will then go over the report with one of the study supervisors to talk about ways that the participant can move safely while practicing the skills. The participant will then practice the skills one more time while being videotaped. The study supervisors will then compare the two reports to see if the participant improved. Group 2 will also practice common surgery skills on a model while being videotaped. Group 2 participants will not get to see the report that the application generates or speak with the study supervisors about ways to move safely while practicing the skills. There will be a follow up after two months to see if participants remembered what was learned during the class and during the hands-on practice lesson. All participants will again be videotaped. The study supervisors will compare the videos and reports from the last class to the most recent ones to see if the participants learned and remember how to move safely while working. Participants in both groups will take a quiz about the lessons learned in the class before and after the class to determine what had been learned from the lesson. A survey about how useful and helpful the class was and hands-on practice sessions were will also be completed. Read Less

The goal of this study is to learn about of the research study drug, telomelysin (OBP-301), in combination with pembrolizumab in advanced or metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) cancer. The main question it aims to answer is whether this combination is safe and effective in this type of cancer. Participants will receive 5 injections of OBP-301, approximately every 2 weeks. OBP-301 will be injected directly into the tumor during an esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD). At the same time as the injection, a tumor biopsy will be taken. Participants will also receive pembrolizumab infusions every 6 weeks until disease progression or for a maximum of two years. This is a parallel group, Phase 3, multinational, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, 3-arm study for treatment of participants diagnosed with moderate-to-severe AD on background TCS who have had inadequate response to prior biologic or oral JAKi therapy. The purpose of this study is to measure the efficacy and safety of treatment with amlitelimab solution for subcutaneous (SC) injection compared with placebo in participants with moderate-to-severe AD aged 12 years and older on background TCS and have had an inadequate response to prior biologic or an oral JAKi therapy. Study details include: At the end of the treatment period, participants will have the option to enter the Long-Term Safety Study LTS17367 (RIVER-AD). The study duration will be up to 56 weeks for participants not entering the long-term safety study (LTS17367 \[RIVER-AD\]) including a 2 to 4-week screening, a 36-week randomized double-blind period, and a 16-week safety follow-up.
