Florida is currently home to 3760 active clinical trials, seeking participants for engagement in research studies. These trials take place at a variety of cities in the state, including Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville and Orlando. Whether you're a healthy volunteer interested in paid medical research or someone seeking trials related to a specific condition, the state offers a diverse array of opportunities in your vicinity.
Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics, and Safety Profile of Understudied Drugs Administered to Children Per Standard of Care (POPS)
Recruiting
The study investigators are interested in learning more about how drugs, that are given to children by their health care provider, act in the bodies of children and young adults in hopes to find the most safe and effective dose for children. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the PK of understudied drugs currently being administered to children per SOC as prescribed by their treating provider.

Gastroschisis Outcomes of Delivery (GOOD) Study
Recruiting
The objective of this study is to investigate the hypothesis that delivery at 35 0/7- 35 6/7 weeks in stable patients with gastroschisis is superior to observation and expectant management with a goal of delivery at 38 0/7 - 38 6/7 weeks. To test this hypothesis, we will complete a randomized, prospective, multi-institutional trial across NAFTNet-affiliated institutions. Patients may be enrolled in the study any time prior to 33 weeks, but will be randomized at 33 weeks to delivery at 35 weeks o... Read More

University of Central Florida CereBank
Recruiting
Millions of persons are affected by brain diseases. The CereBank will be used to support research studies aimed at improving the diagnosis and treatment of brain diseases. Brain diseases can be inherited; developed due to diseases or aging; or can be due to trauma. The Central Florida does not have a brain biobank to meet the needs of research. Therefore, it is necessary for the University of Central Florida to establish a brain biobank.
