Orexin s Role in the Neurobiology of Substance Use Disorder
Recruiting
Study Description:
Despite the availability of pharmacotherapy for some substance use disorders, relapse vulnerability is still a significant issue. This suggests medications with alternative mechanisms of action should be explored to address this unmet need. Substantial preclinical research indicates that orexin antagonism blunts the internally and externally triggered motivation to attain abused substances. This research project will translate these preclinical findings into the clinical doma... Read More

Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation for Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD) With an Alemtuzumab, Busulfan and TBI-based Conditioning Regimen Combined With Cytokine (IL-6, +/- IFN-gamma) Antagonists
Recruiting
Background:
Chronic granulomatous disease (CGD) affects the immune system. People with CGD are more likely to get infections. Drugs can help control infections, but these treatments can cause side effects including kidney failure and deafness. Stem cell transplants can cure CGD, but these don t always work.
Objective:
To find out if a different drug treatment can improve the success rates of stem cell transplants in people with CGD.
Eligibility:
People aged 4-65 years with CGD.

Recruiting
This study is being done to assess mogamulizumab-associated rash in patients diagnosed with mycosis fungoides or sezary syndrome and treated with standard of care mogamulizumab. One of the most common side effects of mogamulizumab is a rash, currently named mogamulizumab-associated rash (MAR) which can look like MF or SS. However, mogamulizumab-associated rash (MAR) does not indicate failure of mogamulizumab, and may be a sign that the drug is working. If not properly evaluated, mogamulizumab-as... Read More
