Researchers are looking for a better way to treat people who have advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with specific genetic changes called human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) mutations. Advanced NSCLC is a group of lung cancers that have spread to nearby tissues or to other parts of the body or that are unlikely to be cured or controlled with currently available treatments. HER2 is a protein that helps cells to grow and divide. A damage (also called mutation) to the building plans (genes) for this protein in cancer cells leads to a production of abnormal HER2 and therefore abnormal cell growth and division. The study treatment, BAY 2927088, is expected to block the mutated HER2 protein which may stop the spread of NSCLC. The main purpose of this study is to learn how well BAY 2927088 works and how safe it is compared with standard treatment, in participants who have advanced NSCLC with specific genetic changes called HER2 mutations. The study participants will receive one of the study treatments: * BAY 2927088 twice every day as a tablet by mouth, or * Standard treatment in cycles of 21 days via infusion ("drip") into the vein. The treatment will continue for as long as participants benefit from it without any severe side effects or until they or their doctor decide to stop the treatment. During the study, the doctors and their study team will: * take imaging scans, including CT, PET, MRI, and X-rays, of different parts of the body to study the spread of cancer * check the overall health of the participants by performing tests such as blood and urine tests, and checking * heart health using an electrocardiogram (ECG) * perform pregnancy tests for women * ask the participants questions about how they are feeling and what adverse events they are having. An adverse event is any medical problem that a participant has during a study. Doctors keep track of all adverse events, irrespective if they think it is related or not to the study treatment. The goal of this study is to understand and improve the breast surgical decision-making process for young women newly diagnosed with breast cancer. As part of this study, the investigators will evaluate the impact and use a web-based tool called CONSYDER that is designed to provide useful information to young breast cancer patients. It is also meant to improve communication between young women and their surgeons with the purpose of helping patients make appropriate surgical decisions. Participants will complete surveys approximately within 1 week of the surgical consult and approximately 6 months after surgery. Patients who receive neoadjuvant chemotherapy will also be surveyed after the completion of neoadjuvant treatment but prior to surgery. Some patients will be invited for an interview after their surgery as part of the evaluation. A subset of patients/surgeons will also have their surgical consultation audio-recorded. Read Less

This study is a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial to evaluate the use of high frequency TENS for pain control during IUD insertion. Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) is a relatively low-cost, low-risk, non-pharmacologic intervention for pain management. Previous studies have found that TENS reduces pain associated with other outpatient gynecological procedures. Participants will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to either active treatment or placebo (placebo TENS) and record pain scores using a 100 mm visual analog scale (VAS) at the time of IUD insertion. The purpose of this study is to evaluate an online platform -- the Living Memory Home for Dementia Care Pairs (LMH-4-DCP) for persons with dementia and their family caregivers to engage in reminiscence activities together and record meaningful memories. The main aims of this study are: * To evaluate the feasibility and acceptability of the LMH-4-DCP platform. * To explore the potential for LMH-4-DCP to reduce feelings of pre-loss grief and enhancing relationship quality in dementia family caregivers and their care-recipients ('Care-Pairs') Care pair participants will be asked to log-in to LMH-4-DCP and complete study activities three times per week for two weeks. Researchers will compare the intervention group to an attention control condition to see if LMH-4-DCP's use is associated with reduced feelings of caregiver pre-loss grief and improved care pair relationship quality at follow-up. Spinal cord injury (SCI) disrupts the nerves controlling movement, along with those that regulate functions like heart rate and blood pressure (known as the autonomic nervous system, or ANS). Testosterone (T) plays a significant role in brain health and ANS reflex function in non-neurologically impaired men. However, little is known about the relationships between T, nerve function, and ANS dysfunction after SCI. Interestingly, up to 60% of men with SCI exhibit persistently low T concentrations, which may worsen nerve and ANS dysfunction. In uninjured eugonadal people (normal physiologic range of serum T concentrations), a single pharmacologic dose of intranasal T has been shown to quickly improve nerve function, but no study has evaluated if T administration alters nerve and ANS function in men with SCI. Herein, the investigators will conduct the first study to test how a single dose of intranasal T impacts motor and ANS function in this population. Read Less

COVID-19 can trigger a dysregulated immune response, and previous studies have shown that immune modulation can improve outcomes in hospitalized patients. This trial is designed to determine whether intensification of immune modulation early in the course of the disease (while patients are on low flow oxygen) with abatacept (active arm) combined with standard of care (SOC) improves recovery as compared with placebo + SOC (placebo arm). For both groups, intensification of immunomodulation will be provided as part of SOC in case of signs of disease progression (patient requires high flow nasal oxygen (HFNO) or more support) and/or if the patient has rapidly increasing oxygen requirement.
