Golcadomide and Rituximab as Bridging Therapy for Relapsed or Refractory Aggressive B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma Before CAR T-cell Therapy
Recruiting
This phase II trial tests the effectiveness of golcadomide and rituximab as bridging treatment before chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy in patients with aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma that has come back after a period of improvement (relapsed) or that has not responded to previous treatment (refractory). Patients that are able to receive CAR T-cell therapy have a potential for cure, however, many will not be qualified to receive therapy due to relapse. Bridging therapy is th... Read More

Listener Training for Improved Intelligibility of People With Parkinson's Disease
Recruiting
Listener training offers a promising avenue for improving communication for people with dysarthria due to Parkinson's disease by offsetting the intelligibility burden from the patient onto their primary communication partners. Here, we employ a repeated-measures, randomized controlled trial to establish the efficacy of listener training for patients with PD and their primary communication partners. This translational work will establish a new realm of clinical practice in which the intelligibili... Read More

Preventing Suicidal Behavior With Diverse High-Risk Youth in Acute Care Settings
Recruiting
The study will compare the effectiveness of two relatively brief and scalable evidence-based interventions: the Stanley Brown Safety Planning Intervention and Follow-up Contacts (SPI+), a suicide-specific intervention that helps people prevent suicidal crises from escalating, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Adolescents Ultra Short Crisis Intervention (IPT-A SCI), a psychotherapeutic crisis intervention treatment for suicidal adolescents that teaches youth skills to prevent suicidal crises an... Preoperative Hypofractionated Radiotherapy With FOLFOX for Esophageal or Gastroesophageal Junction Adenocarcinoma
Recruiting
This phase II trial tests how well preoperative (prior to surgery) radiation therapy with fluorouracil, oxaliplatin, and leucovorin calcium (FOLFOX) works for the treatment of stage I-III esophageal or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma. Hypofractionated radiation therapy delivers higher doses of radiation therapy over a shorter period of time and may kill more tumor cells and have fewer side effects. Fluorouracil stops cells from making deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and it may kill tumor ce... Read More

Iltamiocel Compared to Placebo for Chronic Fecal Incontinence in Females With Obstetric Injury
Recruiting
This study evaluates the efficacy and safety of a single injection of iltamiocel (300 x 10\^6 cells) compared to a placebo in the reduction of fecal incontinence episode frequency in adult female participants with chronic fecal incontinence and a history of obstetric anal sphincter injury. Half of the participants will receive iltamiocel (injections with cells) and the other half will receive placebo.

Exercise Training and Fat Metabolism in Postmenopausal Women
Recruiting
Adipose tissue turnover plays a critical role in body weight maintenance, and obesity is underscored by the dysregulated balance between fat breakdown and synthesis. Although there are clear health-related benefits of physical activity, little is known about how resistance exercise, as opposed to endurance exercise, can reduce the risk of metabolic disorders, particularly in women. The goal of the proposed study is to investigate the effectiveness of resistance training to improve basal and stim... Read More
