This is a prospective, observational, multi-center cohort study of pediatric cardiac arrests. The purpose of the study is to determine the association between chest compression mechanics (rate, depth, flow fraction, compression release) and patient outcomes. Participants will be asked to walk along with the metronome beats (RAS) during the participants' stimulation state (ON or OFF) for four minutes for each state. The researcher will collect the gait parameters (cadence, velocity, and stride length) of patients before, during, and after RAS in both DBS ON and OFF states. Using MDS-UPDRS, participants' gait patterns will be collected before and after RAS while both DBS is ON and OFF. This study is designed to assess the feasibility that individualized reminiscence-based virtual music therapy sessions can enhance autobiographical memory, mood, and cognition in patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or mild dementia due to Alzheimer's Disease (AD). 60 patients with MCI or mild dementia due to AD will receive two 30 minutes reminiscence-targeted virtual music therapy interventions per week for 8 weeks (a total of 16 sessions). Participants' (or supported by the study partner) self-reported and measurable outcomes including cognitive, anxiety, quality of life, and autobiographical memory will be assessed before and after the 8-week course of treatment. The proposed study is a randomized clinical trial. The overarching goal of the study is to apply Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR) to reduce tobacco use among youth and young adults (14-21 y/o) in Baltimore City through a mixed-method approach adapted to the needs of youth and young adults. This study has partnered with the American Lung Association's Not On Tobacco (N-O-T) program and aims to deliver tobacco cessation classes. The study will target Baltimore City high schools and colleges, prioritizing facilities in underserved inner-city communities. The proposed research consists of a 2-arm trial where participants from four high schools and two colleges will be randomized to peer-facilitated tobacco cessation classes or self-navigated groups. The trial aims to assess the effectiveness of peer-facilitated tobacco cessation intervention compared to self-navigated tobacco cessation in terms of their success rates (quitting and staying quit). The study's primary hypothesis is that the tobacco cessation rate will be equal to or higher in the peer-facilitated arm than in the self-navigated arms. The secondary hypothesis is that the retention rate will be equal to or higher in the peer-facilitated arm compared to the self-navigated arm. CEASE Youth tobacco cessation program is an eight-week program based on the American Lung Association's (ALA) Not On Tobacco (N-O-T) program. The ALA's N-OT program is acknowledged as an accessible and effective option for teen tobacco cessation. Participants in the peer-facilitated group will be given the evidence-based N-O-T program curriculum and provided with virtual materials, information, and resources by their assigned peer facilitators. Virtual tobacco cessation peer motivation sessions will be offered using the digital online platform Zoom, and the peer facilitators will communicate with the participants in between the classes. The participants in the self-navigated group will receive the same ALA N-O-T program curriculum and complete the eight-week sessions, but it will be self-navigated and without peer facilitations. No peer facilitator will be assigned to this group, and the participants will complete the curriculum by themselves. This project aims to establish a network of spine oncology centers dedicated to prospective multicenter research of patients diagnosed with a primary tumor of the spine and will include a comprehensive prospective clinical database which will serve as a shared research platform. Demographic, clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic variables will be used to answer questions about survival and local recurrence, as well as questions about adverse events (AEs), morbidity data, and health-related quality of life (HRQOL) outcomes. This is a first-in-human study evaluating the anti-T cell immunoglobulin and mucin containing protein-3 (TIM-3) antibody TSR-022. The study will be conducted in 2 parts with Part 1 consisting of dose escalation and Part 2 dose expansion. Part 1 will determine the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) of TSR-022 and Part 2 will evaluate the antitumor activity of TSR-022 in combination with TSR-042 or docetaxel and as monotherapy. Read Less

The investigators will accomplish our research aims by collecting cutaneous microbiome samples from 50 persons that have undergone the Osseointegration (OI) surgery at eight timepoints, prospectively. The investigators will also collect control samples to correct for turnovers in species compositions that may naturally occur and to compare the residual limb microbiome to the sound contralateral limb. The investigators will sequence the bacterial community using universal bacterial primers. Using these sequences, The investigators will borrow from ecological theory and calculate the alpha and beta diversity. The alpha diversity will determine the species and abundance of each species that are present, while the beata diversity will allow us to compare how species assemblages and frequencies change between time points. Then, the investigators will take a phylogenetic modeling approach to determine if particular species assemblages correlate with rates of wound healing. The investigators will construct phylogenies from the sequences at the different time points and "paint" the rate of wound healing along the phylogeny (e.g., improved, stagnated, worsened). Using Akaike and Bayesian information criterion, the investigators can determine which phylogenetic model best explains the patterns the investigators see across patients. Lastly, the investigators will quantify soft tissue stability and health and correlate this with the homeostasis of the microbial community. Specifically, the investigators will determine if redundant soft tissue leads to altered microbial communities that can impact the rate of wound healing. Finally, the investigators will further stratify these data to compare microbial communities between the sexes, upper versus lower limbs, and proximal versus distal amputations. This work will allow us to better treat infections after OI surgery and can shed light on wound healing process so that the investigators can better treat limb loss patients and the military community as a whole. Art therapy is used across the Military Health System for treatment of posttraumatic symptoms, but there is limited research on how art therapy is able to restore emotional expression and regulation in service members. This research hopes to learn about the effects of art therapy on emotional expression and regulation in service members as well as the neurological systems at work. If a participant chooses to be in this study, he or she will attend ten sessions over a period of twelve weeks. The first session will be an interview and self-assessment questionnaires to collect information on a variety of symptoms, experiences, and personality traits, and an MRI scan. During the MRI scan, participants will be asked to perform a task where they will be shown a series of neutral and negative images. The middle eight sessions will be one-hour art therapy sessions with a certified art therapist. The last session will consist of the same self-assessment questionnaires and another MRI scan. Read Less
