Effects of Early Weight Bearing on Rehabilitation Outcomes in Patients With Traumatic Ankle and Tibial Plateau Fractures
Recruiting
The overall objective of this study is to compare outcomes following early versus delayed weight bearing for adult patients operatively treated for an ankle fracture without syndesmotic fixation. Additionally, early weight bearing will be tested in patients with unicondylar plateau fractures that do not involve joint impaction in the context of a pilot study.

Hydroxyurea Optimization Through Precision Study
Recruiting
Hydroxyurea Optimization through Precision Study (HOPS) is a prospective, multi-center, randomized trial that will directly compare a novel, individualized dosing strategy of hydroxyurea to standard weight-based dosing for children with SCA. The primary objective of the study is to evaluate whether a pharmacokinetics-based starting hydroxyurea dose thieves superior fetal hemoglobin response to to standard weight-based initial dosing. Patients will be recruited from the pediatric sickle cell clin... Read More

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for Cognition in Diabetic Elderly at High Dementia Risk
Recruiting
An urgent need exists to identify effective interventions to arrest or reverse dementia and cognitive loss at its earliest stages. The proposed pilot randomized clinical trial will investigate the short and long-term effects of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on cognitive functioning, cerebral blood flow, and glucose uptake in diabetic elderly with mild cognitive impairment. and provide the basis for a large-scale multi-center study of hyperbaric oxygen therapy effects on cognition in diabetes. The po... Read More

Study of Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy Plus Trastuzumab and Pertuzumab in HER2-Negative Breast Cancer Patients With Abnormal HER2 Signaling
Recruiting
This is a prospective, single arm, open label, multicenter interventional study designed to evaluate the efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy with anti-HER2 antibodies in patients with HER2-negative invasive breast cancer who have abnormal HER2 signaling activity determined by the Celcuity CELx HER2 Signaling Function (HSF) testing.

Testing the Use of Targeted Treatment for RET Positive Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer
Recruiting
This phase II Lung-MAP treatment trial tests whether carboplatin and pemetrexed with or without selpercatinib works to shrink tumors in patients with RET fusion-positive non-small cell lung cancer that is stage IV or has not responded to previous RET directed therapy. Chemotherapy drugs, such as carboplatin and pemetrexed, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Selpercatinib may st... Read More

Assessing the Clinical Benefit of Molecular Profiling in Patients With Solid Tumors
Recruiting
Many patients are treated for advanced cancer without knowledge of underlying molecular features that might indicate FDA approved therapies or potential eligibility for biomarker-selected clinical trials. The Strata Trial (STR-001-001) has been initiated by Strata Oncology to evaluate the clinical benefit of systematic comprehensive genomic profiling for participants with advanced cancer using real-world data and endpoints, while assessing the proportion of participants available for clinical t... Auricular Vagal Nerve Stimulation for Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome
Recruiting
Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) is a connective tissue disorder characterized by hyperextensible skin, joint hypermobility and additional connective tissue manifestations. For unclear reasons, hEDS is associated with many gastrointestinal (GI) and autonomic nervous system (ANS) complaints such as postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). This study will address the clinical relationship between hEDS/Hypermobile Spectrum Disorders and autonomic regulation and see if there is a b... Read More
