Colorado is currently home to 1805 active clinical trials, seeking participants for engagement in research studies. These trials take place at a variety of cities in the state, including Denver, Aurora, Colorado Springs and Englewood. Whether you're a healthy volunteer interested in paid medical research or someone seeking trials related to a specific condition, the state offers a diverse array of opportunities in your vicinity.
Examining the Efficacy of a Digital Therapeutic to Prevent Suicidal Behaviors
Recruiting
The primary aim of the project is to test the efficacy of BCBT delivered via a digital platform (i.e., smartphone) to Servicemembers with recent suicidal ideation and/or suicide attempts presenting to primary care clinics. Given existing challenges of scaling empirically-supported treatments/interventions for suicidality with fidelity, this project could lead to markedly expanded access to BCBT, along with improving our understanding about what intervention strategies are most effective and how... Cerebral Hemorrhage Risk in Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia
Recruiting
This study is one of the three projects of an NIH Rare Disease Clinical Research Consortium. A "consortium" is a group of centres sharing information and resources to perform research. The consortium research focuses on brain blood vessel malformations in three different rare diseases. The focus of this specific study is on Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT). HHT is a condition characterized by blood vessel malformations, called telangiectasia and arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), occurring in... Read More

Impact of MEnstruation on Glycemic Response and Exercise In Females With Type 1 Diabetes
Recruiting
The objectives of this study are to examine how sex hormones (use of hormonal birth control, menstrual cycle phase) impact glycemic control among women with type 1 diabetes (T1D), and to test adjustments to insulin dosing and food intake to ameliorate cycle-related glycemic variability. A secondary aim is to examine how the menstrual cycle and use of hormonal birth control impact patient-reported outcomes and glycemic responses to physical activity.

Biomarkers for Peripheral Circadian Clocks in Humans
Recruiting
The purpose of this project is to improve our understanding of peripheral circadian rhythms in humans. Circadian clocks are present in most tissues of the body with importance for optimal physiological function, health, and behavior. This project will utilize simulated jetlag protocols to systematically test novel hypotheses about the regulation of peripheral circadian rhythms in humans. Specifically, we will examine how changes in the time of when we are exposed to light and the timing of when... Read More

5-Years PMCF Study of Ceramic Dental Implants One-piece Versus Two-piece.
Recruiting
The goal of this cohort observational study is to compare in the survival rate of ceramic dental implants placed in patients with missing or hopeless teeth . The main question\[s\] it aims to answer are: * Are there any significant differences in survival rate between the use of one-piece ceramic implant versus the two-piece (TL) variant? * What are the complications associated to the procedure and differences between the two groups.
