RECOVERS - Realigning Emotion and COgnition Via PrEcision Regulation NetworkS
Recruiting
In this research study, the investigators are examining how brain activity (electrical and blood flow) changes during tests of emotional processing, attention and memory in the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner and outside the MRI using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS). Investigators are also using non-invasive brain stimulation to probe different parts of the brain and measuring brain activity (electrical and blood flow).

Influence of Fast and Slow Imagined Muscle Contractions on Muscle Function or Central Nervous System Properties
Recruiting
The goal of this randomized clinical trial is to learn if imagining fast or slow muscle contractions causes different responses for nervous system excitability and muscle function in young, healthy males and females in. The main questions are:
Does imagining fast muscle contractions cause greater nervous system excitability compared to imagining slow muscle contractions?
Does imagining fast muscle contractions increase muscle function compared to imagining slow muscle contractions?

In Vitro Maturation of Human Eggs
Recruiting
CCRM Fertility, a global pioneer in fertility treatment, research and science, is seeking participants for a new study on in vitro maturation (IVM). IVM requires less hormones to stimulate the ovaries than IVF, making it more affordable than IVF with fewer side effects. Participants that qualify for the study will receive a free cycle of IVM treatment at CCRM Fertility and including a new patient consultation, fertility testing, preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidies (PGT-A), anesthesi... State Dependence of Prefrontal Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation
Recruiting
The study will examine whether the benefits of brain stimulation on mental functioning can be enhanced if an individual is actively engaging the target brain networks while receiving brain stimulation. The study includes two separate sessions and people will complete either a cognitive task or a perceptual task while receiving transcranial magnetic stimulation. The study will measure change in brain function with EEG.

Effects of PFC tDCS on Cognitive Control, Attention Lapses and Coordinated Neural Activity in the Theta and Alpha Bands
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to better understand the neural correlates of higher-order cognition, both in the healthy brain and in schizophrenia, and to determine how these mechanisms are modulated by transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) at frontal and occipital scalp sites. Testing the effects of tDCS at these scalp sites on cognitive task performance will help us understand the roles of the brain regions corresponding to these sites during higher-order cognitive processing (language...
