California is currently home to 5599 active clinical trials, seeking participants for engagement in research studies. These trials take place at a variety of cities in the state, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and Sacramento. Whether you're a healthy volunteer interested in paid medical research or someone seeking trials related to a specific condition, the state offers a diverse array of opportunities in your vicinity.
Evaluation of Dosing Procedures of Chemotherapy Treatment (Carboplatin) With the Contrast Agent Iohexol
Recruiting
This trial studies how well iohexol works in helping doctors calculate the dose of carboplatin given to patients with cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Understanding how to best calculate the dose of carboplatin given to patients with cancer may help doctors learn how to improve the use of carboplatin in the future.

Longitudinal Study for Eosinophilic Granulomatosis With Polyangiitis
Recruiting
Eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) is a rare immune system disorder that causes asthma, an excessive number of eosinophils (a type of white blood cell) in the blood, and the inflammation of blood vessels, or vasculitis. In order to properly treat EGPA, it is critical that the level of disease activity can be determined over the course of the disease. The purpose of this study is to determine new biological markers, or biomarkers, that may be used to assess the severity of this... Read More

Study of Obeldesivir to Treat Children With Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Infection
Recruiting
The goal of this clinical study is to check if obeldesivir (ODV; GS-5245) is safe and well-tolerated by children with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection. It will also look at how well ODV helps reduce the time it takes for children to feel better and for their RSV symptoms to improve. The primary objectives of this study are: a) to evaluate the safety and tolerability of ODV in pediatric participants with RSV infection; b) To evaluate the efficacy of ODV on time to alleviation of targe...
