Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurological condition, which affects the brain. PD gets worse over time, but how quickly it progresses varies a lot from person to person. Some symptoms of PD are tremors, stiffness, and slowness of movement. The purpose of this study is to evaluate how effective ABBV-951 is in treating adult participants with advanced PD in real world setting. ABBV-951 (foslevodopa/foscarbidopa) is an approved drug for the treatment of Parkinson's Disease. The main ROSSINI study will have approximately 450 adult participants with PD (300 participants new to ABBV-951, up to 150 participants transitioning from open-label extension study) will be enrolled across approximately 60 sites. Decision to treat with ABBV-951 (or continue the treatment in Cohort B) will be made by the doctor prior to any decision to approach the participant to participate in this study. There will be a sub-study that will enroll 40 naïve participants who initiated Foslevodopa/Foscarbidopa treatment for the first time (Cohort A of the ROSSINI parent study only) from 6 to 15 centers in the United States, Germany and Spain. All participants will receive subcutaneous infusion of ABBV-951 for approximately 3 years. Participants will attend regular clinic visits during the course of the study. The purpose of this study is to examine the safety and efficacy of an abbreviated course of preoperative radiation, given over five days, for patients with soft tissue sarcoma of the extremity, trunk or retroperitoneum. This is in contrast to standard preoperative radiation, which is given over 25 days. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to examine if we can predict sensitivity of osteosarcoma to different chemotherapy agents using tissue cultures in the laboratory. We know that different chemotherapy agents can be used in the treatment, but not every sarcoma responds to them equally. It is important to understand if testing of the tissue obtained during a routine biopsy or surgery may be useful in selecting appropriate treatments. In addition, additional testing of the tumor, including genetic testing, will help us to understand osteosarcoma better. Read Less

The primary aim of the present research project is to examine the feasibility, as measured by treatment perceptions, and tolerability, as measured by adherence and attrition, of two weeks of flashed light therapy alone followed by four weeks of daily flashed light therapy combined with four weekly videoconference-delivered cognitive behavioral therapy sessions targeting circadian rhythms and sleep in four adolescents aged 14 to 17 years with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and delayed sleep-wake schedules. The goal of this clinical trial is to compare the number of catheter-free days (CFD) and the rate and severity of any dialysis access-related infections between the ATEV and AVF groups over 12 months in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) needing hemodialysis (HD). Participants will be stratified by location of the vascular access (forearm versus upper arm) and by type of AVF creation procedure planned by the surgeon at randomization (1-stage AVF versus 2-stage AVF). The goal of the Shoulder iD™ Primary Reversed Glenoid Outcomes Clinical Study is to collect safety and performance data on the commercially available Shoulder iD™ Primary Reversed Glenoid device. The study will learn about standard device use in adult patients who have a functional deltoid muscle and massive and non-repairable rotator cuff tear. The main questions it aims to answer are: * What is the average improvement in patient-reported shoulder function after 2 years when compared to before the surgery, and * What is the rate of surgical revisions needed over a 10 year period Patients will be asked to will be asked to regularly attend their check-up visits with their surgeon (including having x-rays or CT images taken to check their shoulder and implant), to complete questionnaires to report how their shoulder is doing, and to tell their surgeon when they notice any changes. Impaired social motivation, or "asociality," is a negative symptom of schizophrenia (SCZ) and a cause of significant functional impairment in the illness. Whereas many symptoms of schizophrenia can be treated with antipsychotic medications, deficits in social motivation persist, leading to significant social disability in patients. There is currently no effective treatment for this symptom of the illness. One promising and unexplored avenue to enhance social motivation in schizophrenia is ± 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA). MDMA is a psychostimulant that shares some pharmacological properties with amphetamines, but in addition, has pronounced pro-social effects, increasing the motivation to engage socially. In healthy volunteers, it produces feelings of empathy and closeness with others and increases attention to positive social cues, perhaps partly through its effects on the social bonding hormone, oxytocin. MDMA has shown promise in other psychiatric conditions such as PTSD. Thus, MDMA could offer a unique therapeutic benefit in patients with SCZ who suffer from impaired social motivation. The investigators plan to take the first step in testing MDMA as a treatment for these social deficits by testing the tolerability of the drug in patients with SCZ. This will be an open-label, ascending-dose, within-subject trial in which participants will receive 40mg, 80mg, or 120mg of MDMA. The doses will be administered in ascending order, but doses will be stopped if subjects experience moderate or greater psychotic symptoms at 24 hours. This trial will assess the tolerability of the drug in this population and guide in the selection of a maximum well-tolerated dose for future studies. The primary tolerability measure will be clinician-rated psychotic symptoms (disorganized speech, delusions, hallucinations) collected at 24 hours after MDMA administration. The results of this project will lay the foundation for further investigations of MDMA and other psychoactive compounds as a treatment for debilitating and difficult-to-treat social deficits in schizophrenia. Future studies will examine interactions between the effects of psychoactive compounds and nonpharmacologic psychosocial interventions targeting social symptoms. Read Less

The Health Advocate for Liver Transplant (HEAL-Tx) Pilot is a nonrandomized, open-label intervention pilot of a health advocate intervention aimed to assess feasibility and acceptability of integrating a Health Advocate onto the transplant team. Across studies, health advocate roles vary, and can include coordinating medical care treatment, facilitating financial assistance (e.g., taxi vouchers), and connecting patients to community resources, which can improve self-management, mitigate social risks, and lead to better communication between the healthcare system and the family. In this pilot, the investigators will adapt this intervention for pediatric liver transplant patients and measure acceptability and feasibility according to RE-AIM. Read Less
