Neuropharmacologic Imaging and Biomarker Assessments of Response to Acute and Repeated-Dosed Ketamine Infusions in Major Depressive Disorder
Recruiting

Objective:
Main Study: To study the effects of ketamine in treating depression.
Ketamine Metabolites Substudy: To study how ketamine effects brain chemistry.

Adaptive Coping Skills Training to Improve Psychological Distress Among Cardiorespiratory Failure Survivors
Recruiting
Conditions treated in intensive care units (ICUs) such as the acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), congestive heart failure, COVID pneumonia, and sepsis are common. These can lead to high rates of depression, anxiety, and PTSD that worsen quality of life. Yet there are few effective strategies able to overcome barriers of limited access to mental health care. Even less is known about the experiences of patients from racially and ethnically minoritized populations because of they haven't b... Read More

Evaluation of Association Between Testosterone Levels, Dementia, and Adverse Mental Health Outcomes
Recruiting
This study evaluates the association between testosterone levels and risk of dementia and adverse mental health outcomes (e.g. depression and anxiety). It is not known whether low testosterone levels may be associated with an increased risk of dementia. Learning about the association between testosterone levels and risk of dementia may help determine the long-term effects of androgen deprivation therapy and may help improve quality of life.
