This study is open to adults aged 55 years and older with geographic atrophy that was diagnosed by imaging of the retina. The purpose of this study is to find out whether a medicine called BI 1584862 improves the eyes in people with geographic atrophy and to find the most suitable dose. This study has 4 treatment groups. Participants are put into groups randomly, which means by chance. Initially participants can join a BI 1584862 and a placebo group; then more participants are put randomly in 2 additional BI 1584862 groups and a placebo group. Participants are in the study for 1 year. During this time, they visit the study site 13 times. At the visits, doctors check the severity of participants' eye disease and collect information on any health problems. They take detailed pictures of the back of the eye, the retina, with imaging methods called fundus autofluorescence (FAF) and optical coherence tomography (OCT). They measure areas of the retina that appear healthy (bright) or start to waste away (dark, atrophy). The changes over time are then compared between the treatment groups. Read Less

The study evaluates the safety of different doses of a new medicine called NNC0519 0130. It also looks into how the medicine may improve kidney function in participants with chronic kidney disease with or without type 2 diabetes, living with overweight or obesity. The participants will either get NNC0519-0130 (a new medicine), semaglutide (a medicine that doctors can already prescribe), or placebo (a "dummy" substance). This study is open to people with cirrhosis caused by a liver disease called MASH (metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis). The purpose of this study is to find out how well a medicine called BI 770371 is tolerated. Participants are put into 2 groups by chance. One group gets BI 770371 as an infusion into a vein and the other group gets placebo as an infusion into a vein. Placebo infusions look like BI 770371 infusions but do not contain any medicine. Participants get an infusion every 3 weeks for 12 weeks. Participants are in the study for about 5 months. During this time, they visit the study site 16 times. This also includes 1 overnight stay at the study site. The doctors regularly check participants' health and collect information on any health problems of the participants. The goal of this study is to learn if people who receive V940 and pembrolizumab after surgery are cancer-free longer than people who receive placebo and pembrolizumab. Researchers want to know if giving V940 and pembrolizumab after surgery can help prevent the cancer from coming back in people with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) whose tumors did not respond completely to treatment before surgery (neoadjuvant treatment). This is a study for people with advanced cancer for whom previous treatment was not successful. Adults aged 18 and over with advanced cancer with HER2 alterations can join the study. The purpose of this study is to find out whether a medicine called zongertinib helps people with advanced cancers with HER2 alterations. HER2 alterations can cause cancer. Zongertinib inhibits HER2. Participants are put into 13 groups based on the type of advanced cancer and the type of HER2 alterations they have. All participants take one dose of zongertinib each day. Participants can continue the treatment as long as they benefit from it and can tolerate it. Participants visit the study site regularly. During many of the visits, the doctors check the size of the tumour and whether it has spread to other parts of the body. This is a phase 1/2, multicenter, open-label umbrella platform study that will evaluate the safety and tolerability of sacituzumab tirumotecan with pembrolizumab and fluoropyrimidine chemotherapy for the first-line (1L) treatment of participants with locally advanced unresectable or metastatic human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-negative gastric, gastroesophageal junction, or esophageal adenocarcinoma. This substudy will have two phases: a safety lead-in phase and an efficacy phase. The safety lead-in phase will be used to evaluate the safety and tolerability, and to establish a recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) for sacituzumab tirumotecan in combination with chemotherapy and immunotherapy. The purpose of this study is to learn about the safety and effects of the study medicine alone or when given together with other anti-cancer therapies. This study also aims to find the best dose. This study is seeking participants who have solid tumors (a mass of abnormal cells that forms a lump or growth in the body) that: * are advanced (cancer that doesn't disappear or stay away with treatment) and * have a KRAS gene mutation (a change in the DNA of the KRAS gene that can cause cells to grow in very high numbers). This includes (but limited to) the following cancer types: Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC): It's a type of lung cancer where the cells grow slowly but often spread to other parts of the body. Colorectal Cancer (CRC): This is a disease where cells in the colon (a part of large intestine) or rectum grow out of control. Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC): This is a cancer that starts in the ducts of the pancreas but can spread quickly to other parts of the body. Pancreas is a long, flat gland that lies in the abdomen behind the stomach. Pancreas creates enzymes that help with digestion. It also makes hormones that can help control your blood sugar levels. All participants in this study will take the study medication (PF-07934040) as pill by mouth twice a day repeating for 21-day or 28-day cycles. Depending on which part of the study participants are enrolled into they will receive the study medication (PF-07934040 alone or in combination with other anti-cancer medications). These anti-cancer medications will be given in the study clinic by intravenous (IV) that is directly injected into the veins at various times (depending on the treatment) during the 21-day or 28-day cycle. Participants can continue to take the study medication (PF-07934040) and the combination anti-cancer therapy until their cancer is no longer responding. The study will look at the experiences of people receiving the study medicines. This will help see if the study medicines are safe and effective. Participants will be involved in this study for up to 4 years. During this time, they will come into the clinic between 1 to 4 times in each 21-day or 28-day cycle. After they have stopped taking the study medication (at about at 2 years) they will be followed for another two years to see how they are doing. Read Less
