Subjects with relapsed large cell lymphoma will receive 3 cycles of combination therapy consisting of GDP and epcoritamab. Each cycle will last 21 days. GDP consists of gemcitabine 1000 mg/m2 IV on Days 1 and 8, cisplatin 75 mg/m2 IV on Day 1, and dexamethasone 40 mg orally on Days 1 through 4. Epcoritamab will be administered subcutaneously (SC) on Days 1, 8, and 15. Patients will receive granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) between Day 8 through Day 10 of each cycle of combination therapy. Patients will then undergo radiology imaging for disease assessment. Patients may proceed to SCT(autologous or allogeneic) or CAR T-cell therapy or epcoritamab monotherapy upon completion of Cycle 3 per investigator discretion. The rationale for subjects not proceeding to autoSCT or CAR T-cell therapy will be captured in the eCRFs. Patients who do not undergo SCT or CAR T-cell therapy may have the option to receive study treatment with epcoritamab monotherapy following completion of Cycle 3. Epcoritamab monotherapy will be offered to selected subjects who become ineligible to undergo SCT or CAR T-cell therapy (such as social situation, change in subject decision). The decision to offer epcoritamab monotherapy will be per investigator's discretion. However, subjects must have demonstrated a response to the combination therapy (partial remission or complete remission) per disease assessment scans prior to offering epcoritamab monotherapy. Epcoritamab monotherapy should begin 2 weeks following Cycle 3 Day 15. Monotherapy will consist of epcoritamab 48 mg administered subcutaneously on Days 1 and 15 of each 28 day cycle for Cycle 4 to Cycle 9 or until unacceptable toxicity, or disease progression per the Lugano Criteria. This is a phase 3, open-label, randomized, multi-center study assessing the efficacy and safety of DZD9008 versus platinum-based doublet chemotherapy in participants with locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC with EGFR Exon20ins mutation, who are newly diagnosed or have not received prior systemic therapy in advanced stage. Primary objective of this study is to assess the efficacy of DZD9008 versus platinum-based doublet chemotherapy using by BICR-assessed PFS per RECIST 1.1 as primary endpoint. Approximately 320 participants are estimated to be randomized into the study. The Women's HARP study is a multi-center study focusing on women with clinical presentation of myocardial infarction (MI). Women will complete stress questionnaires following presentation to the medical center with elevated cardiac enzymes and abnormal electrocardiograms (ECGs). 2 months following MI, participants will be screened for the Stress Ancillary Study and enrolled if an elevated level of perceived stress is reported. After completing baseline assessments, participants will be randomized to Enhanced Usual Care (EUC) or stress management for 8 weeks. Participants will be followed for 6 months. Read Less

Severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) is associated with a 20-30% mortality rate and significant disability among most survivors. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimate that 2% of the U.S. population lives with disabilities directly attributable to TBI, with annual costs exceeding $76.5 billion. Current treatments are largely ineffective because they are instituted after irreversible damage has already occurred. By the time intracranial pressure (ICP) increases or brain tissue oxygen tension (PbtO2) decreases to harmful levels, it is often too late to reverse or repair the damage. A computerized method has been developed that can predict these injurious events ahead of time, allowing clinicians to intervene before further damage occurs. The goal of this proposal is to test these predictions in real time. The first phase of the project (Year 1) involves setting up the informatics infrastructure, with no patient interaction. In the second phase (Year 2), subjects, through surrogate decision-makers, will be enrolled in an observational study where data on intracranial pressure and brain tissue oxygen tension will be collected, and the prediction algorithm will be tested for accuracy. Clinical management will follow standard care protocols, and no additional interventions will be performed. Approximately 120 individuals will participate in this study at the University of Chicago and Ben Taub General Hospital in Houston. Data collected will include both the electronic medical record and data from bedside intensive care unit monitors. The electronic medical record includes demographic information, injury characteristics, laboratory values, and imaging data, while the intensive care unit monitor provides real-time vital signs such as intracranial pressure, brain tissue oxygen tension, and mean arterial pressure. These data will be securely stored in a research computer database. Efforts will be made to contact subjects or their caretakers at 6 months to follow up on recovery. This research aims to improve patient outcomes by providing predictions of further brain injury, with the potential for future interventions to prevent permanent brain damage. Read Less

This study is intended to help the investigators understand how a biomarker found in the blood may be used to better identify the quantity and different patterns of alcohol use. The investigators hope that the results of this study will help identify the uses of alcohol-use markers in the blood in future alcohol prevention and treatment programs. It is hoped that the information learned from this study will benefit other people in the future. The study participants will come into the lab and will (1) consume alcohol in the lab designed to produce a peak blood alcohol concentration of 0.06% and have blood collected over 6 hours followed by abstinence for 10 days to give a small blood sample 4 times and (2) to give a small amount of blood 5 times within 28 days (naturalistic drinking) and provide answers about alcohol use.
