ADAPTING AND ASSESSING THE FEASIBILITY OF A TELEHEALTH DIABETES PREVENTION PROGRAM FOR HISPANIC ADOLESCENTS
Recruiting
Hispanic adolescents are disproportionately burdened by type 2 diabetes (T2D). Social determinants of health (SDoH) serve as barriers to behavior change and participation in disease prevention efforts, especially among vulnerable adolescents. Telehealth is a potentially effective approach for delivering disease prevention programs as it addresses some SDoH like transportation, childcare needs, and parent work schedules. Unfortunately, there are no theory- or evidence-based telehealth diabetes pr... Read More

A Study to Evaluate the Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetics, and Efficacy of RO7446603 Administered Alone or in Combination With Aflibercept or Faricimab in Participants With Diabetic Macular Edema
Recruiting
This study aims to evaluate the ocular and systemic safety, tolerability and efficacy of RO7446603 in participants with diabetic macular edema (DME). The study consists of 2 segments: Phase I (Parts 1-4) and Phase II (Part 5). Phase I investigated the safety of RO7446603 following a single and multiple intravitreal (IVT) doses as monotherapy or co-administered with IVT aflibercept or IVT faricimab (in separate injections). Phase II will investigate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK)... Read More

A Clinical Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of the FloStent in Men With Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia Symptoms
Recruiting
The goal of this study is to determine the safety and effectiveness of the FloStent, a medical device used to treat men with symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, compared to sham (procedure without deployment of the FloStent). All participants will undergo a flexible cystoscopy and those randomized to the treatment arm will receive the FloStent, while those randomized to the sham arm will not receive the FloStent.

Study Assessing Left Ventricular Administration of a Genetic Medicine Directing Organ Regeneration in Heart Failure
Recruiting
This clinical trial investigates the safety and preliminary effectiveness of YAP101, a gene therapy designed to improve heart function in adults with ischemic heart failure and reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF). Ischemic heart failure, often resulting from a prior heart attack, leads to poor heart function and quality of life. Current treatments are limited, and there is an urgent need for new therapies. YAP101 works by delivering a gene therapy using a specialized vector to heart cells, target... Read More

Examination of Nociscan Impact on Discogenic Low Back Pain Surgical Outcomes
Recruiting
This study is looking into how safe and useful NOCISCAN is. NOCISCAN is a software as a Service (SaaS) tool that uses Magnetic Resonance (MR) spectroscopy. Nociscan (instead of 'It') leverages MRS to noninvasively help physicians distinguish between painful and nonpainful discs in the lumbar spine. The randomized controlled trial will compare the blinded and unblinded cohorts and their corresponding surgical outcomes with the Nocigram reports, generated prior to treatment, for each patient."

Testing a Standardized Approach to Surgery and Chemotherapy for Type I Pleuropulmonary Blastoma or the Addition of an Anti-cancer Drug, Topotecan, to the Usual Treatment for Types II and III Pleuropulmonary Blastoma
Recruiting
This phase III trial tests how well surgery plus chemotherapy compared to surgery alone works in treating patients with type I pleuropulmonary blastoma (PPB), and tests how well surgery plus standard chemotherapy with the addition of topotecan works compared to surgery plus standard chemotherapy alone in treating patients with type II and III PPB. Historically, most children with type I PPB had surgery and approximately 40% of children with type I PPB received chemotherapy following their surge... Read More

A Study in Patients With Moderate to Severe Plaque Psoriasis to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of ESK-001
Recruiting
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if ESK-001 works to treat moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does ESK-001 reduce the severity of people's psoriasis? * How safe is ESK-001 in people with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis? The study includes 2 comparators: a placebo control (a 'dummy' tablet that does not contain the medicine ESK-001 but looks just like it) and an active control (apremilast, which is a medicine approved to treat psorias...
