This is a single-site open-label clinical trial of the Stanford Accelerated Intermittent Neuromodulation Therapy (SAINT®) protocol. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if a new form of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS)-known generally as accelerated intermittent theta burst stimulation (aiTBS) and specifically as SAINT®-is effective as a first-line therapy in treating adolescents aged 14-19 years-old in their first episode of depression who have not undergone a full course of depression treatment prior to starting the trial and who remain antidepressant-free throughout the trial. The main questions this trial aims to answer are: * Does SAINT® relieve symptoms of depression as a first-line therapy in adolescents? * Is SAINT® a feasible option as a first-line treatment for adolescent depression? Researchers will measure the depression symptoms in adolescent participants before and after SAINT®. Parents of the adolescent participant will also participate in the study providing information about their experience and preference for TMS as a first-line treatment. The purpose of this study is to assess and compare conditions for tracheal intubation obtained with modified time principal induction with 0.6 mg/kg rocuronium and 1 mg/kg succinylcholine. Specifically, the investigators will be evaluating ease of laryngoscopy, vocal cord view, vocal cord opening, and movement of limbs and coughing during tracheal intubation in order to assess intubation conditions, to compare efficiency and success rate of tracheal intubation between two induction agents and to determine the rate of patient awareness during induction and post-operative recall of paralysis. This study intends to explore feasibility, acceptability, and outcomes related to the use of a digital health coaching intervention for individuals who have completed primary therapy for cancer. Up to 625 individuals with diverse cancer diagnoses will be enrolled across up to 8 clinical sites to participate in a randomized wait-list control study. Those in the intervention group will receive 6 months of digital coaching up front followed by 6 months of ongoing monitoring via patient reported and clinical outcomes, as well as wearable data. Those in the control group will be monitored via patient reported and clinical outcomes as well as wearable data for the first 6 months followed by 6 months of digital health coaching. Both groups will collect fecal microbiome samples at enrollment and month 6. This descriptive study aims to evaluate the experience of adults with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma receiving standard of care isatuximab-irfc through collection of quantitative, qualitative and wearable data. Fifty adults with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma receiving standard of care isatuximab-irfc will be enrolled across 2 sites, The University of California San Francisco and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Consented participants will be enrolled in a 3-month digital health coaching program through which electronic patient reported outcomes and wearable activity data will be collected. Outcomes include treatment experience, quality of life, financial toxicity, treatment adherence, symptom burden and health self-efficacy. These will be captured by patient reported outcome measures including the Patient's Qualitative Assessment of Treatment- Real World (PQAT-RW), Patient Global Impression of Change/Severity (PGIC/S), European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire (EORTC-QLQ-C30), Quality of Life Questionnaire Multiple Myeloma (QLQ-MY20), and the European QoL-5 Dimensions (EQ5D), Cancer Behavior Inventory-Brief Form (CBI-B), Center for Adherence Support Evaluation (CASE) Medication Adherence Index, Comprehensive Score for Financial Toxicity (COST) Instrument. Clinical data, including treatment history, healthcare utilization, and co-morbidities, as well as demographic data will be collected via the electronic health record from each clinical site. This data will be complemented by qualitative data from a selected cohort of study participants with a focus on treatment experience ranging from infusion burden, toxicity management, to overall quality of life. Evaluation of this data in combination will be used to better understand the treatment experience of individuals on standard of care isatuximab-irfc specifically, and with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma generally, contributing to an existing gap in the literature regarding patient reported outcomes from diverse data sources. Outcomes will be analyzed with attention to the relationship between social determinants of health, including race, ethnicity, and geographic location, and treatment experience as reflected in both the qualitative and quantitative data. Inguinal hernia repair-the most common general surgery operation in the U.S.-provides a unique opportunity to improve outcomes for older patients by changing surgical practice. Nearly 80% of inguinal hernia operations are performed under general anesthesia versus 15-20% using local anesthesia, despite the absence of evidence for superiority. The choice of anesthesia has particular implications for older adults because they face substantial short- and long-term risk of cognitive and physical decline after exposure to general anesthesia. Consequently, the American College of Surgeons and the American Geriatrics Society have identified a critical need in surgery: determining which operations have better outcomes when performed under local rather than general anesthesia. Currently, the evidence for choosing an anesthesia technique for inguinal hernia repair in older adults is inconclusive. Several small randomized trials and cohort studies have suggested that using local anesthesia for hernia repair reduces morbidity by one-third, unplanned readmissions by 20%, and operative time and costs by 15% while other studies showed no significant differences. However, there are significant flaws in these studies that severely limit their applicability to older adults: (1) They mainly focused on younger patients with limited comorbidity burden, largely ignoring individuals aged 65 years and older, (2) They did not adequately examine the effects of general anesthesia on cognitive function and quality of life for older adults and their caregivers, (3) They did not consult with stakeholders to identify outcomes relevant to those groups. The primary objectives of the study are: (1) in the dose-escalation part: to evaluate safety and tolerability and to determine the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) of farletuzumab ecteribulin (MORAb-202) in participants with selected tumor types (ovarian cancer \[OC\], endometrial cancer \[EC\], non-small cell lung carcinoma \[NSCLC\], triple-negative breast cancer \[TNBC\]), and (2) in dose-confirmation part: to evaluate preliminary efficacy measured by objective response rate (ORR) of farletuzumab ecteribulin (MORAb-202) in participants with OC and EC at selected doses and to further evaluate the safety and tolerability of farletuzumab ecteribulin (MORAb-202) and (3) dose-optimization part. (divided in two parts: Part A \[OC and EC participants\] and Part B \[EC only\]): Part A: to evaluate other farletuzumab ecteribulin (MORAb-202) treatment regimens for safety, tolerability and preliminary efficacy in participants with OC and EC; to evaluate the use of the addition of short course of oral corticosteroids following every dose of farletuzumab ecteribulin (MORAb-202) administered every 21 days, as mitigation strategy for interstitial lung disease (ILD); and to select treatment regimens with farletuzumab ecteribulin (MORAb-202) for further evaluation in Part B. BOOST3 is a randomized clinical trial to determine the comparative effectiveness of two strategies for monitoring and treating patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI) in the intensive care unit (ICU). The study will determine the safety and efficacy of a strategy guided by treatment goals based on both intracranial pressure (ICP) and brain tissue oxygen (PbtO2) as compared to a strategy guided by treatment goals based on ICP monitoring alone. Both of these alternative strategies are used in standard care. It is unknown if one is more effective than the other. In both strategies the monitoring and goals help doctors adjust treatments including the kinds and doses of medications and the amount of intravenous fluids given, ventilator (breathing machine) settings, need for blood transfusions, and other medical care. The results of this study will help doctors discover if one of these methods is more safe and effective. Read Less
