Training in Evidence-based Treatments in Psycho-Oncology
Recruiting
The goal of this research study is to train psychotherapists to administer individualized evidence-based psychotherapies in a cancer care setting to participants with elevated levels of distress due to their illness and/or treatment. The intervention will mirror clinical care in psycho-oncology in which the therapist, collaboratively with their supervisor, will choose specific components of the following evidence-based treatments to administer based on the clinical presentation of the patient a... Mindful Waiting Room
Recruiting
This will be a single-site, five-arm, parallel group randomized control trial involving patients seeking integrative healthcare. Four different styles of 5-minute, audio-recoded mindfulness practices delivered in the clinic waiting room will be compared with a 5-minute audio-recording about integrative healthcare. A secondary sub-analysis will investigate the most effective mindfulness practice style for patients presenting at the clinic with elevated anxiety, depression, or pain.

Sevoflurane's Effect on Neurocognition Study
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of acute pain on long-term memory and conditioned physiologic responses in the presence and absence of low dose sevoflurane. Functional magnetic resonance imaging will be used to identify the neural correlates of these phenomena. The study will occur over 2 visits and involves no long-term follow up.

Brief Mindfulness for Foot and Ankle Pain
Recruiting
This is a single-site, four-arm, parallel-group randomized clinical trial (RCT). The clinical effects of three different formats of a very brief (i.e., 3 minute), audio-recorded mindfulness intervention for foot and ankle patients will be investigated relative to a 3-minute audio-recoding about pain psychoeducation.
